Oma Sonia (1920-2018) was a survivor of the Holocaust - experiencing Krystallnacht, and the Nazi bombing and occupation of Warsaw.  She came to the USA in 1940, and her "art therapy" was to create brilliant florals, calming portraits, and colorful country landscapes that helped her escape traumatic memories.  Her art is sure to soothe your soul.
