Oma Sonia (1920-2018) was a prolific artist, known for colorful landscapes and primitive farm scenes. Her woman hanging laundry "On the Farm" is a quaint and primitive style scene that is sure to bring colorful joy to any room.

Oma Sonia was a Holocaust survivor who experienced Krystallnacht and the Nazi bombing and occupation of Poland. She escaped to the USA om 1940, and became a prolific artist of primitive landscapes (friends compared her to Grandma Moses, and Oma is German for Grandma, and so she became known as Oma Sonia).
