Oma Sonia (1920-2018) was a Holocaust survivor, who came to the USA in 1940 and became a prolific artist who painted primitive folk scenes, landscapes, abstract florals, and evocative portraits. She began an annual tradition of publishing an annual calandar featuring 12 of her favorite paintings to give to her friends and family for a New Year.
