Oma Sonia was a Holocaust Survivor and artist. She painted in the primitive, folk-art style of "Grandma Moses" and soon became known as Oma Sonia ("Oma" is grandma in German). Her oils and acrylics portray quaint country scenes of farms and villages. She is also known for her brilliantly colorful florals, and evocative portraits.
